The Birds

There are many reasons why I love fall, but one thing I definitely love are the birds. The girls love to go out in the morning and throw leftover toast or cracker bits or bread that is on the verge of molding for the birds. Then they run inside and sit on the couch waiting to see how many come for breakfast. Some mornings we will have 40 birds darting around our backyard... in and out of shrubs, finding seeds in the "grass" and eating the crumbs we've set out. How fun!
