When Kerianna was home for the summer we got very good at setting up menus for a couple months at a time. I'm not as good as Jill but one day I hope to get there. I'm still trying new recipes to add to the "line-up". I get recipes from friends, pull them out of magazines or print them off. Next I need to add them to the rotation to "try". If we like it, it's added permanately if not, to the garbage it goes. It seems like we're trying 20 new recipes everytime we set up a menu calendar... but that's not what this post is about.
Mondays I go shopping. This week I needed to include a Costco run. Well, David took the morning off and when he got home from his excursion to Oakland he offered to go with me. This is a love/hate situation. I love being with him and spending time with him and very much enjoy the help he is, but why is it that my grocery bill doubles when he's with me?
I've decided that I'll take his company (and the extra expense) any day.

You know, ironically the same thing happens when my husband tags along with me. (Same thing happens to my mother as well) If must be a guy thing
