Tiny Tidbits

Don't look for any logic, but here are some happenings in picture form.

Taleah is my shadow. She wants to be everywhere and do everything that I do. At the same time, she expects me to follow her around and "watch" her. Hmmm. She is a great helper.

Our Stake had a fundraiser for the youth. This is a cake that Megan whipped out. Really, it took her no time at all. It was auctioned for $90. They made over $7,000 with the highest cake going for $250 (the next highest for $150).

This is a giggle picture for me. Taleah came running in the house rubbing her nose saying "owie, Mom... my nose is owie". Long story short, she was stung on the nose by a bee. Silly bee. It hurt for a long time.

Kaleigh's date to Mormon Prom... also her first "date". Ahhh, Sweet 16.

Erina wanting to know why she can't go surfing with the big girls. "It's no fair." Her favorite saying lately.

The creative process. Just in case you can't make it all out we have chocolate milk - thanks to the sippy cup, chocolate cake mix, chocolate chips (do you see a theme?) and of course you can't forget the mud, rocks and flowers. Gotta love it.

Most people add milk to their cheerios, but not at our house. The next day it was those new cereal straws... not even sure what they're called. On sale for $1.00 a box, how do you pass it up. Not getting them again, but...

Megan's mo-prom date, Jeremy. Nice guy. Wish it was a better dress picture - very cute. Also, I chose this pic so you could have a small idea of how we did the lights across the courtyard. Lots of work, but a perfect setting... and perfect weather and best of all, Megan was very pleased with the end result.

The pond we put in the courtyard for mo-prom. Besides the fact that we had to rip it apart once because we were losing too much water and put a new liner in... then the next day one of the walls fell down - after the fish had been put in. Poor fish. Out of the 300 fish that were bought, there were 12 living by the time prom started. G'ma and G'pa were the master brains behind this. Not the fish killing, the pond.

Inside the gym at mo-prom. They had dinner with opera singers. Go figure. The girls said it was really. Dinner was the only part inside.

Okay, enough is enough. Random tidbits.

Super FUN!!! I am glad that everything turned out great for mo-prom! Kaliegh's dress looks like she could be a mermaind! Thanks for the update!
