Bucket List

I have a friend who reciently made a bucket list. If you haven't seen the movie, do. A bucket list is things you want to accomplish before you kick the bucket. It's a living list that can be added to or deleted from. My list does not contain "have to". Most items are things I've heard about and intrigue me. But when I have time, energy and money I know where to start checking things off.

My first and foremost priority is to do what I know is right - as an individual, wife and mother.

With that being said, here is my list:

Visit Holy Land
Hike ruins in South America
Canoe through the Amazon
See Grand Canyon from the bottom
Stay in an urtz – or however it’s spelled
Visit Ireland
See Niagara Falls
Visit Egypt
Hot air balloon
Swim with dolphins
White water rafting
Go on a cruise with family
Pay off all debt
Lose weight
Have vacation property
Visit all temples
Shower in a waterfall
Road trip across US
See northern lights
Experience “no night” in Alaska
See Stonehenge
Whale watching
Go on a week long hike
Attend rugby game and understand it
Cruise Mediterranean
See Greece
Go on a safari in Africa
Run a 5K
Decorate the house the way I want it
Stay in a hut over the water in Tahiti/Bora Bora
Always have a valid temple recommend
Serve a mission with David
Keep my part of the covenant

(I encourage you to try it too, it's refreshing. Use this website to get you started: www.bucketlists.wetpaint.com)

LOVE YOU! SO, do you want to train for a 5k together next spring? If you want to stay in a urt we have some out here by us. We could snow shoe in (if we are thinking of the same thing?:))And, can I say an AMEN to decorating our houses the way we want to. I will SO be doing this. LOVE YOU! (again)

Ooh, I like yours. I think I'll have to adopt it for my own! haha. I'd heard the term Bucket List before, but didn't know there was a movie involved. Thanks for sharing the site.

P.S. Are you referring to a yurt? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yurt
I've been inside one that had the night sky projected through it. Pretty cool. :-D

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. That was the most helpful site I had found. I now know who I am voting for.

I don't have a bucket list of my own but I have done 15 of the ones on your list. I saw a rugby game in Perth, Australia but I can't honestly say I understood it. I once thought I had to be the only American in a very remote place until I met two young Mormons having a great time on their mission. Just amazing.
