January 17th pictures

Sorry to all of you who think you're gonna get some incredible insight. I'm using this to keep Megan and Kaleigh up to date via pictures on the happenings at home.

By the way, if you would like to know how and what they are doing in Africa, you can check out Megan's blog at... well, it's not that easy. Megan has chosen to block her blog while in Africa. You'll need to get permission, but you can leave a message here and I can get you hooked up. Kaleigh also has a blog. You can get little bits of information looking them up on facebook.

My elephant looking hand. It must be winter. Yes, there is no ring. I cut it off so it can be re-sized. Only one problem. After showing it to dad last night it has gone missing. I'm not totally stressed, but I have no idea where else to look. Yikes.

Sammy is doing swimmingly. Just not sure who will change his water.

I found this watch laying around the house. Any idea who it belongs to?

These are the cute pillowcases that Sister Hodgman is helping me with. They are the birthday gifts for the primary children. Pretty fun, huh?

also, two little tidbits... or more

1) Dad and I are giving talks on February 12th. Any ideas, thoughts, insights, etc would be nice. Dad's talk is on forgiveness and mine is on honesty.

2) Megan, your driver's license came today. You're a legal driver again.

3) Today was Montse's and Ashley's surgeries. We are still waiting to hear the outcome.

I Have a Dream

Erina brought this home in her white envelope today. Can you read it? It says "I chould keep the dream alive by having lots of brown skin colored friends and being kind to them." It made me smile and think of Megan and Kaleigh. She was made at me for taking a picture before it was finished. I guess she still wanted to put legs and feet on her people. Cute girl.
Check it out Megan. Letters are printed. Folded. Picture included. Envelopes addressed. And stamped. I feel successful.
I dropped by Gma and Gpa's house. They were not home but there was a strange Florida car in their driveway. I called them only to find out they are on their way to Outback with Hine. What? They didn't call me to even say she was in town. I finally got to meet her beau. Super nice guy.

One day I'll have to tell you about our neighbor's b'day party. At first we loved the food until we were told what we were really eating. Haha.
Do you recognize this shot? Oakland. It was beautiful on Saturday morning.
I added this one because it's hilarious. There were about 10 of these on my camera when I went to download my pictures. She is so funny.

Random Stuff

I'm putting the menu board to good use. Someone else was over this week... Oh Tierra... I think. Whoever it was saw it on pintrest too and thought it was fun.
Yummy lobster, but the crab and salmon were the best.

Karina with Charlie's parents.

Karina glows! It was a great baptism.

L to R: Karina's G'ma, herself, mom, aunt

Missionaries - duh! Loketi and Blakely were both transfered. I don't know about anyone else.

The view off our balcony at Clearlake Bed and Breakfast. The Gills have an amazing place. It was beautiful, relaxing and the perfect break.

Taleah with her collection of stuffed animals. She's the only one who's done that.

We went to an Irish restaurant in Lakeport. Erina loved the lemons.

Sorry this has taken me forever to post. The modem went down and I'm just remembering I never sent these pictures off.
